Exhibition «Vietnam Foodtech 2026»

   A small workshop moving to a proper line and a factory rethinking its packaging step run into the same wall: you cannot tell how a machine behaves from a brochure. Three October days in Ho Chi Minh City fix exactly that — processing machines, fillers, labelling systems and cold rooms all running in one hall, with someone next to them who can quote a price.

   Vietnam Foodtech is the country's dedicated show for food products, machinery, equipment and technology, organised by Global Exhibition and Conference JSC (GLOEX). Exhibitors come from Vietnam, China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Australia, Canada, the United States, Germany and Russia.

   The product sections cover:

• — food and beverage processing machinery and equipment;
• — automation systems, robotics and production software;
• — filling, bottling and packaging machines for liquid products;
• — weighing, dosing and checkweighing systems;
• — labelling, coding and traceability equipment;
• — cleaning and sterilisation machinery, waste management, industrial gases;
• — refrigeration and heating systems, cold rooms;
• — ingredients and additives, certification services and packaging design.

   The floor is built for manufacturers, importers and exporters, OEMs and subcontractors, equipment agents and distributors, regulators and trade associations. If you are working out how to raise capacity or meet an export standard, this is where supplier comparison takes a day rather than a quarter.

   The market behind it: the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service's annual report published in April 2026 puts Vietnam's food processing industry at US$88 billion in 2025, growing 11%, with food retail sales steady at US$71.8 billion. In the same year the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment recorded agriculture, forestry and fishery exports of about US$70.09 billion, up 12% and the highest on record. Processing machinery is the link that sits between those two numbers.

   A few rules worth knowing: entry is free with an invitation and a business card, visitors under 16 are not admitted, and dress is expected to be neat — shorts and flip-flops will be turned away at the door. That is standard safety practice around working machinery. One detail the schedule does not show: on the final day, 23 October, the halls close an hour early, at 16:00. The same hall on the same days hosts Vietnam Growtech Expo for farm machinery, which is convenient if you follow the chain from field to factory.
