User-Generated Content Policy

This Policy sets out the rules for content created by users and published on CityGuide (cityguide.vn): information about events and places submitted via the "Add a place/event" form, as well as reviews, comments, photos and other materials where such features are available on the Site ("Content"). This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use.

1. Content Requirements

By submitting Content you confirm that:

• the information is accurate and relates to a real event or place;
• you hold the rights to the submitted materials (texts, photos, posters) or have the rights holder's permission;
• the Content does not violate Vietnamese law or third-party rights.

2. Licence

By submitting Content you grant the Administration a free simple (non-exclusive) licence to use it: publication on the Site, technical adaptation (reformatting, resizing, editing text without distorting its meaning), inclusion in the Site's compilations and announcements, including the project's official social media accounts. The licence lasts for the duration of the exclusive rights. You retain all rights to your Content and may request its removal (Section 5).

3. Prohibited Content

The following Content is not allowed:

• content that breaks the law or contains defamation, threats or insults;
• content inciting hatred or discrimination on any grounds;
• pornography, promotion of violence, drugs or weapons;
• content infringing third-party intellectual property rights;
• third parties' personal data without their consent;
• spam, unauthorised advertising or misleading content (non-existent events, wrong dates or prices, impersonating an organiser);
• malicious code or links to malicious resources.

4. Moderation

All submitted Content is moderated before or after publication. The Administration may, at its discretion, edit (without distorting the substance), decline or remove any Content without stating reasons, and is under no obligation to publish submitted materials. In the event of repeated or gross violations, the Administration may restrict the violator's ability to submit Content. Content submitted under reward programs is moderated on the same basis; rewards are paid only for accepted Content in accordance with the program terms.

5. Complaints and Removal

For rights holders. If you believe published Content infringes your rights, send to [email protected]: the link to the page, a description of the infringement and proof of your rights. Justified requests are normally satisfied within 5 business days.

For authors. You may request removal of Content you submitted by writing to [email protected] from the contact used for the submission, or by otherwise confirming authorship.

6. Liability

The user who submitted the Content is responsible for it, including towards third parties. The Administration acts as an information intermediary and takes action upon requests in the manner described above.
