About the event

   For three days Ho Chi Minh City becomes the busiest coffee trading floor in Southeast Asia. Roasters, café and bakery owners, pastry chefs and equipment suppliers come to cup new lots, compare machines side by side and settle on the supplier they will work with for the year ahead.

   This is the tenth edition of Coffee Expo Vietnam, formally Vietnam International Coffee, Tea & Bakery. The organisers expect 175 brands and roughly 20,000 trade visitors in Exhibition Hall A at the SECC, with the Vietnam International Franchise Show running in the same complex — one visitor badge covers both floors.

   The floor plan is split into six sections, which makes route planning easy:

  • — coffee and tea — green beans and finished products;
  • — drink ingredients;
  • — machinery and facilities — espresso machines, roasters, grinders, display units;
  • — related products for cafés and tea houses;
  • — bakery and desserts;
  • — education and consulting for the trade.

   For the anniversary year the organisers have announced a separate programme line-up: Grand Coffee Challenge, Café Workshop, Quay Bar Experience and Premium Pass. Schedules and participant lists go up on the show website closer to opening, so it is worth checking the notice section before you travel.

   Who gets the most out of it. Café and bakery owners can compare equipment and collect quotes in one afternoon; baristas and pastry chefs get hands-on time with machines and direct conversations with roasters; distributors and importers can work through the Vietnamese supplier list in a single visit. If you are still at the business-plan stage, three days here cover everything from bean sourcing to fitting out a counter.

   The show has grown steadily: 18,000 visitors in 2023, 19,000 in 2024 and 22,000 in 2025, across 175 brands and 350 booths. That trajectory tracks the market — Vietnam is the world's second-largest coffee producer after Brazil, and its domestic café scene long ago stopped being a footnote to the export business.

   The organiser is COEX VINA, the Vietnamese arm of the Seoul exhibition operator COEX. The venue matters too: the SECC is the largest exhibition complex in southern Vietnam, sitting in the Phú Mỹ Hưng area south of the centre and hosting most of the city's trade shows.

   Admission is free. You can pre-register online and receive a QR code by email the day before opening, then collect your badge from a self-service kiosk; on-site registration works the same way, by scanning the code at the counter. Pre-registration closes at 23:59 on 28 October, and last admission is half an hour before the hall shuts.

   A paid Premium Pass is sold separately in limited numbers, with the price to be announced. It covers the premium lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks, a dedicated check-in desk, a gift from the show and entry thirty minutes ahead of the official opening.

   Visitor and accreditation questions go to the Vietnamese office at [email protected] (Ms Ngan / Ngân), or to the Korean head office at [email protected]. Visitor registration takes a couple of minutes.

   Come with comfortable shoes and an empty supplier list — by closing time only one of the two will still be empty.
