Travel Expo «ITE HCMC 2026»

About the event

   For three days the travel trade of Southeast Asia fits under one roof in Ho Chi Minh City: hundreds of destinations, hotel groups, airlines, cruise lines and tour operators from the Mekong Delta to Europe. Industry people come for contracts; residents and visitors come to buy holidays straight from the companies that run them.

   ITE HCMC — the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City — reaches its 20th edition as the leading travel trade event in Vietnam and the lower Mekong region. This year runs under the theme «Vibrant Connections – Global Destinations», with a show floor of 9,400 sqm.

   The essentials:

  • — more than 500 exhibiting companies and brands: national tourism boards, hotels and resorts, airlines, MICE organisers, medical and education travel, travel technology;
  • 260 hosted buyers from over 40 countries and territories — tour wholesalers, DMCs, incentive houses and corporate travel planners;
  • — business programme: pre-scheduled B2B appointments, market insight seminars and destination presentations;
  • — for the public: direct tour sales, country showcases, contests and lucky draws;
  • 30,000+ visitors expected across the three days.

   Who it is for. Tour operators, agents and corporate travel managers get suppliers for several markets at once: the hosted buyer programme targets companies sending travellers to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. If you are simply planning a holiday, this is where flights, hotels, cruises and tours are compared face to face, along with deals offered only during the show.

   Nineteen earlier editions turned a local showcase into a regional fixture: the World MICE Awards named it Asia's Best Trade Show in both 2024 and 2025. The previous edition closed with more than 12,600 B2B appointments, over 28,000 attendees, 16 headline activities and 60 international media and KOLs.

   The market context explains the pull: Southeast Asia is projected to reach a GDP of US$4.2 trillion and become the world's fourth-largest economy by 2030, while ASEAN travellers already account for roughly 20–25% of Vietnam's international arrivals, according to data compiled by Mekong ASEAN. Ho Chi Minh City is the practical gateway into Indochina and the Mekong subregion.

   The venue is the largest exhibition complex in southern Vietnam, in the Phú Mỹ Hưng new town south of the centre: two halls of about 9,000 sqm plus outdoor space. Allow roughly 15 minutes from downtown and about 30 from Tân Sơn Nhất airport; registration desks are on the ground floor by the entrance.

   The expo is organised by Cục Du lịch Quốc gia Việt Nam (Vietnam National Authority of Tourism), Sở Du lịch Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism) and the exhibition company C.I.S Vietnam, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

   Access differs by day. On the first two days the halls open for hosted buyers, pass holders and trade visitors with an official invitation, and the doors open to the general public in the late afternoon; the final day belongs entirely to public visitors. The opening day also starts an hour later than the other two. Entry is free for every category, but trade visitors save time at the badge counter by signing up in advance.

   Visitor questions go to [email protected], general enquiries to [email protected].

   Whether you sell travel in the region or are still working out where to take your business next, a few days on this floor will earn you more useful contacts than a month of emails.
