Trade fair «Zhejiang Export (Vietnam) Fair 2026»

   Sourcing usually starts with blind chat messages and a sample box that takes three weeks to arrive. Three August days in Ho Chi Minh City work the other way round: 550 suppliers from China's Zhejiang province lay their goods out across 600 stands, and you can weigh quality, per-batch price and lead time with the sample in your hand.

   This is the 14th edition of a fair Zhejiang has run in Vietnam for thirteen straight years, and it carries UFI approval from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam hosts it, VINEXAD and Yuanda Zhejiang International Exhibition run the floor, and the initiator is the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce under its programme to push the province's manufacturing into ASEAN. Organisers expect 20,000 visitors and companies from 16 countries and territories.

   The floor is split into four pavilions:

• — two-wheeled vehicles and everything around them — motorbikes, e-bikes, bicycles, parts and accessories;
• — textiles — fabrics, materials and trimmings;
• — outdoor, sports and leisure products;
• — hardware and hand tools.

   The fair is built for importers, wholesalers, retail-chain buyers, workshop owners and marketplace sellers — anyone who needs a specific factory contact rather than another catalogue. Zhejiang is the province of Yiwu, home to the world's largest small-commodity wholesale market, and of Ningbo-Zhoushan, one of the busiest ports on the planet.

   Why Chinese exporters keep coming back to this market shows up in the customs data. Vietnam's Customs Department puts two-way trade with China at a record US$256 billion in 2025, up 24.7% year on year. Imports from China rose 29% to US$186 billion; fabrics alone accounted for US$10.3 billion and machinery, equipment and tools for US$38.5 billion, up 33.2%. The organisers add their own angle: more than 85% of motorised vehicles in Vietnam are two-wheelers, which makes the country the world's fourth-largest market for them after India, China and Indonesia.

   One detail the schedule does not show: the first two days are for trade visitors, while 15 August also opens to the general public and closes two hours early, at 15:00. If you are coming for samples and negotiations, plan the first two days.
