Business EventsFor four days the exhibition halls in southern Ho Chi Minh City turn into the main negotiating table of Southeast Asia's furniture trade: a thousand booths, manufacturers from Vietnam and neighbouring ASEAN countries, and buyers arriving from dozens of markets — retail chains, contractors, hotel and resort developers.
The fair is run by Liên Minh VIFA Corp (formerly HAWA Corporation) together with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). This edition is built around 350 exhibiting companies and 1,000 booths, split into four product sectors plus a separate ASEAN House zone where countries of the region show collective displays.
What you will find on the floor:
Beyond the stands there is an opening ceremony, industry seminars and factory visit tours, plus a business matching programme that puts international buyers into one-on-one meetings with Vietnamese manufacturers. Overseas visitors also get airport assistance, a free shuttle bus to the venue, visa support letters and 20–40% discounts at partner hotels.
Who it is for: importers and wholesale buyers of furniture and decor, architects and interior designers, developers and hotel operators, shop and workshop owners. Vietnam is one of the world's largest furniture exporters, and four days here replace weeks of factory trips across the provinces.
This is the fourth edition. The previous one drew 8,926 visitors, 2,037 of them from abroad — close to 23% of the floor — representing 67 countries and territories. Asia supplied 76% of international buyers, the Americas 12%, Europe 7% and Africa 2%; the leading markets were China, the USA, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and the Philippines.
The venue is the city's largest exhibition complex, in the Phú Mỹ Hưng area south of the centre. VIFA ASEAN occupies Hall B, and other trade shows run in the complex on overlapping days, so follow the signage rather than the crowd.
Practical notes: business attire is expected, pets are not allowed, children under 1.3 m cannot enter the halls, and smoking indoors is prohibited. Opening hours differ by day — the halls open at 10:00 on the first day, run 9:00–18:00 in the middle of the fair, and close an hour earlier on the final day.
Register in advance and the organisers send you the e-show directory, which makes planning a route through 1,000 booths far more realistic. Questions about accreditation go to [email protected].
If your work touches furniture, interiors or hospitality projects, this is the week when the whole industry sits under one roof — come to look and to talk.
