About the event

If you are shopping for a press, a die-cutter or a whole packaging line, this is the week to stand in front of the machines instead of comparing PDFs. Four days, one hall complex in the south of Ho Chi Minh City, and most of the region's printing and packaging supply chain in the same room.

This is the 24th edition since the show started in 2001. The 2025 run closed with 300 exhibitors across 16,000 sq m of floor and 20,052 trade visitors from 45 countries and territories.

On the floor: offset, flexo and digital presses; pre-press systems and post-press equipment; die-cutters, folder gluers and carton erectors; corrugated lines; label printing, bar coding and RFID tags; inks, paper and consumables; quality-control systems and anti-counterfeiting technology. In 2025 the organisers added VPPNEXT, a zone for sustainable packaging that gathered Tetra Pak Vietnam, Duy Tan Recycling, BUYO Bioplastics and VECA among others.

The audience is professional: print shop owners, packaging manufacturers, procurement teams and materials distributors, plus brand owners, retailers, e-commerce operators and makers of food, drinks, pharmaceuticals and textiles. Arrive with a shortlist and you will find several suppliers of the same machine class within a few aisles of each other.

The market backdrop explains the turnout. The Vietnam Pulp and Paper Association puts 2025 domestic paper output at about 6.34 million tonnes against total consumption of 7.77 million tonnes — up 10.8% year on year — with packaging grades accounting for more than 80% of everything the industry makes. E-commerce, logistics, exports and the switch from plastic to paper packaging are expected to keep that demand climbing.

The show is organised by Vinexad and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service and managed by Chan Chao International, with backing from the Vietnam Printing Association, the Printing Association of Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry, the Vietnam Waste Recycling Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association.

A practical note on the venue: SECC has four indoor halls — A1, A2, B1 and B2 — totalling roughly 44,000 sq m, so read the exhibitor directory and the floor plan before you set off rather than on arrival. Groups of 15 or more can ask the organisers for a free shuttle within the city if they register in advance.

Two things to plan around: stands close two hours earlier on the final day, and flip-flops, slippers and pets are not allowed inside the exhibition area.

Come with a shortlist and questions about lead times and service, and four days are enough to close a decision that usually drags on for months.
