Trade expo «Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2026» (VIS 2026)

About the event

Getting a Vietnamese factory in front of a Walmart or Reliance Retail buyer normally takes years and a chain of middlemen. In Ho Chi Minh City that distance shrinks to three days: Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade brings more than 500 international buyers to SECC, recruited by over 60 Vietnamese trade offices abroad. If you manufacture, export or source in Vietnam, this is the room you want to be in.

This is a sourcing event, not a consumer fair — nothing is sold to walk-in shoppers. Four exhibitions run under one roof: Home & Houseware (furniture, indoor and outdoor décor, building materials, handicrafts), Food & Beverage (produce, processed food, drinks), Lifestyle & Personal Care (fashion, accessories, personal electronics, health products) and Export Supply Chain (logistics, raw materials, machinery, e-commerce, industrial parks). The venue sits in Phu My Hung, the planned district south of the city centre.

Walmart — over 10,900 stores in 19 countries, serving roughly 280 million customers a week — is shopping for six categories: apparel and accessories, footwear, textiles, home electronics, furniture, food and consumer goods. Pagoda, the Chinese fruit retailer with more than 6,000 stores across 180 cities, returns for a third consecutive year. Reliance Retail, India's largest retail network, is looking for suppliers in produce, processed food, seafood, wood products, homeware, textiles and footwear.

H&M attends for the second year running; the group already works with 42 suppliers and 72 factories in Vietnam, employing more than 60,000 people. Central Retail continues its partnership with the ministry, and the Korean delegation includes HiteJinro with two booths, cloud provider Megazone, the marine equipment association KOMEA and KFME, which represents 7.3 million small traders.

The three days are structured. Day one: opening ceremony and a seminar on Vietnamese consumer goods breaking into global markets. Day two: sessions on raising the value of agricultural produce in international supply chains, and on green solutions for sustainable manufacturing and export. Day three: the halls close at 15:00 while buyer delegations travel out to factory visits in the provinces, by prior registration. Scheduled meetings run in the Business Matching area throughout.

The 2025 edition drew 450 foreign business delegations from 60 countries and territories plus more than 400 Vietnamese companies, with 3,000 pre-arranged B2B meetings and over 10,000 further conversations logged on the floor; Walmart, Aeon, Carrefour, Amazon, IKEA and Lulu Hypermarket all sent buyers. The macro backdrop helps: in the first seven months of 2026 Vietnam's trade turnover reached about US$659 billion, up 28% year on year, with exports near US$320 billion (+21.9%), and the ministry expects the full year to pass US$1 trillion.

Who it is for: manufacturers and exporters, industry associations, provincial trade promotion agencies, logistics, banking and insurance firms on one side; importers, distributors and retail chains on the other. Visitors register in advance, and buyers and exhibitors use separate forms. Bring a company profile, catalogue and certifications rather than a shopping bag — what you take home from here is a follow-up meeting.
