Concert «Chopin in Dreams - 2 Concertos»

   Pianist Trần Lê Bảo Quyên performs two Chopin piano concertos in a rare format: piano paired with a string ensemble rather than a full orchestra, using Kevin Kenner and Krzysztof Dombek's arrangement – a reading closer to Chopin's inward, intimate character.

   Conductor Urushihara Yuki leads the Aura string ensemble through Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor and No. 2 in F minor. The concert is staged by Bét Tô Vui, in partnership with the Sharing Love Fund run by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Lân Hiếu.

   It suits classical fans who want to hear Chopin in a chamber setting rarely used on big stages, and anyone who'd like their evening of music paired with a charitable cause. Tickets run from 100,000 VND for students up to 800,000 VND.

   The concert takes place at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi, starting at 20:00.
