Đêm Văn Miếu — Văn Miếu Night Tour

   The Temple of Literature after dark is a different place: its thousand-year architecture is lit up with 3D projection mapping, and the story of Vietnamese scholarship is told in light rather than wall labels.

   “Đêm Văn Miếu” is a night tour that combines projection and sensors to honour the tradition of learning, the teacher and the country's talents — bringing a familiar heritage site close to a contemporary audience, and to younger visitors in particular.

— One-show package: 299,000 VND for adults, 149,000 for children; two-show package: 399,000 and 199,000. The museum counts anyone above 1.30 m as an adult, and 1.00–1.30 m as a child; children under 1.00 m go free.

   It is for families with children, visitors who want a cultural evening rather than a bar, and Hanoians who have seen the Temple by day and want it in another light. As an outdoor programme it may be rescheduled in bad weather.
