Festival «Oktoberfest 2026»

   Three nights rebuilding the atmosphere of a Bavarian beer hall in the middle of Hanoi, with long tables, live music and imported beer poured without limit. Entry is a full package: a German buffet, drinks, a stage programme and a souvenir beer mug in this year's edition.

   This is an annual event by JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, recreating Munich's best-known folk festival by combining food, music and shared entertainment. On stage, Bavarian folk tunes alternate with modern pop and rock. Beyond the music there are interactive stage activities and souvenirs handed out to lucky guests.

   Food carries real weight here. The German buffet is run by the hotel's own kitchen team and keeps to original preparation methods: grilled sausages, crisp roast pork knuckle, Brezel bread and the familiar side dishes that belong with them.

   The beer list:

• — lines imported directly from Germany: Paulaner Münchner Hell, Paulaner Weissbier, Erdinger Weissbier
• — Vietnamese craft beer from Ibiero and C-Brewmaster
• — alcohol-free beer and soft drinks for guests who are not drinking

   It suits groups of friends, colleagues arriving together, and Hanoi's expatriate community. The hotel offers reductions for bulk bookings, loyalty programme members and members of the German Business Association in Vietnam.

   For groups of thirty tickets and up the list carries separate rates.

   One note on seats: as of 8 October the booking page shows only Friday 9 October still available — public tickets at 2,400,000 VND and association-member tickets at 2,300,000 VND. Thursday and Saturday are sold out in all three categories, as is the Marriott Bonvoy ticket for Friday.

   Oktoberfest began in Munich in the early nineteenth century and became one of the most widely copied cultural festivals in the world, which makes this the most compact way to try it without flying to Germany.
