Party «Scissors» at SALEM

   Eleven artists on the bill and a promise of a night that is «sick and twisted» — that is how the crew announces the return of its series in Ho Chi Minh City. There is no single headliner here: the whole team takes the decks in turn, and the sound shifts as many times as there are names on the list.

   According to ticket records on the Likdo platform this is the fourth edition of the year — the previous nights ran on 28 March, 6 May and 10 July. The September one is the first at a new address: the crew moves to SALEM, a bar in Thảo Điền on the eastern side of town. That works out at roughly one night every two months — this is not a weekly residency you can catch on any given weekend.

   This one is for people who come to dance rather than to hear one long set: eleven back-to-back DJs keep the room from settling into a single mood. It also doubles as a reason to see a venue the series has not played before — Thảo Điền is the expat bar quarter, yet new addresses do not open there every month.

   Two practical things the fact box cannot hold. The early tariff is limited in number, sales on the ticket page close on 4 September, and the crew does not publish a door price in advance, telling you to ask at the door. Free flow runs until 23:00.

   Get your ticket ahead of time, come close to the start and stay to the end — the point of a night like this is hearing the whole crew.
