Party «Luu Bar x Ellas Mueven»

   A Sunday that begins in the middle of the day and has no script: the two hosts say plainly that there will be no fixed line-up, just friends gathering, taking turns at the decks, drinking and laughing. Entry is free, which is the clearest part of the invitation.

   The idea comes from a line by the organisers themselves: they used to spend most Sundays together, then life changed, and this time they want to bring those days back. The poster calls the session a Friends B2B Hangout, meaning the DJs will share the booth in pairs and hand over to each other rather than play separate sets.

   Ellas Mueven is a platform built to support women behind the decks and local electronic artists, and its editions are not tied to any single room. Leading the music this time is Erika Perales together with friends of the series.

   The meeting point is Luu Bar on Phạm Viết Chánh, a place that keeps its own music schedule through most of the week, from an open-decks night for beginners to weekend club sets. A Sunday afternoon is an entirely different tempo for the same space.

   This kind of Sunday is rare in the Saigon calendar: most of the city's electronic nights start after ten in the evening, while here the music begins in daylight and slides into the night. That changes the tempo — it is looser, closer to a gathering with good music than to a club night proper.

   It works if you want music without waiting for the small hours, if you are coming alone and would like to meet familiar faces from the scene, and even if you intend to stay for one drink and end up staying much longer.
