Culture and ArtsAn artist's studio thrown open to visitors while the work is still unfinished is a rare thing in Hanoi, and this one stays open for exactly a month. You get the finished pieces and the experiments that never make it to a normal exhibition wall.
Vietnam Art Collection (VAC) presents «I send you my love», the open studio of Minh Duc Pham, the artist of its Summer 2026 Hanoi Residency. Sculpture, installation and spatial interventions were all developed on site, out of research, observation, conversation and material experiment over the course of the residency.
Worth knowing before you go:
If you study art, work in a creative field, or are simply curious about how a piece takes shape before it is framed, an open studio gives you what a gallery rarely does: the process, with the artist's questions still visible in it. It is also the easiest setting in which to ask something directly.
The opening runs on 7 August, 6 PM to 9 PM and asks for advance registration; from 8 August the studio is open during the day until 6 September. The space sits in a small lane off Tô Ngọc Vân street in Tây Hồ, Hanoi's lakeside district.
Register for the opening through the organisers' form.
Go while the work is still breathing.
