«Olit Olit Che Cha Chà Uytt Chit Chítt» Exhibition

The title is a string of sounds with no dictionary meaning — which already signals what Truong Cong Tung is doing inside: pushing language and material out of their familiar positions.

The show continues his ongoing experiments with matter and the form of sculpture. The running theme is life in a post-human environment, where every act of reproduction is shaped by industrialisation and mass consumption. The space fills with different forms of living matter under that pressure.

Á Space is an independent art space deep in a lane in Long Bien, across the Red River. It is genuinely hard to find, so follow the directions: at the end of the lane turn right and continue about 500 metres.

Open through 16 August, entry free.
