«VISOTECH 2026» — Vietnam Int’l Semiconductor, Optoelectronic and Smart Technology Exhibition

   From 9 to 11 September 2026 Hanoi hosts VISOTECH 2026 – the Vietnam International Optoelectronics Exhibition, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Đường Trường Sa, Xã Đông Anh, TP. Hà Nội. On the official website vioe.vn the 2026 edition is announced under an expanded title – Vietnam Int'l Semiconductor, Optoelectronic and Smart Technology Exhibition (VISOTECH 2026) – adding semiconductors and smart technology to the optoelectronics core. It is run by GLOBALEXPO (Global Expo & Events Joint Stock Company, founded in 1999, Hanoi) together with Guangxi Camel GTS Exhibition Events Service Co., Ltd of Nanning, China.

   The exhibition was originally announced as VIOE 2026 for 26–28 August. The organisers have since renamed it VISOTECH 2026, widening its scope from optoelectronics to semiconductors and smart technology, and moved it to 9–11 September 2026. The venue is unchanged.

   Co-organisers include the Department of Application and Development Technology of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Guangxi VN-CN Exhibition & Business, Shenzhen Leaders Convention & Exhibition, the Global Chamber of Commerce & Industry and J.World Lighting. The show is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, VAST and the Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Industry Association. The declared scale: 10,000 sq m of exhibition space, over 400 booths from more than 250 companies, around 8,000 trade visitors and over 50 partner organisations (earlier announcements quoted 240+ booths and about 7,000 visitors). The previous VISOTECH 2026 edition was held in 2024 at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City; in 2026 it moves to Hanoi.

   The event exists to put manufacturers and traders of high-tech products and components – above all in semiconductors and optoelectronics – in front of the Vietnamese market: studying demand, finding partners, understanding policy and preparing to invest in local production. Optoelectronics, sensing and display technologies are growing fast in communications, healthcare and industrial manufacturing, and Hanoi will show the full range: from OLED and MicroLED screens to sensors and LiDAR, from precision optics to laser equipment.

   The exhibit profile is split into six sections:

• Information and Communications: optical communication chips, optical subassemblies, optical communication devices and modules, transmission equipment, optical communication equipment for data centres, broadcasting equipment, wireless communication, optical fibre materials, fibre cable and fibre sensing, wiring products, wire and cable and the equipment to manufacture them, instruments, semiconductor materials, semiconductor equipment and manufacturing.
• Lasers Technology and Intelligent Manufacturing: laser materials and components, lasers and auxiliary systems, laser equipment, mechanical and numerical control systems, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, 3C electronic intelligent equipment, robots and industrial automation, laser inspection and measurement, AI in laser control – optimising power, focus and cutting speed to cut errors and save energy.
• Precision Optics and Camera: optical materials, cold-processing components, mould-pressed and injection-moulded optical components, optical processing equipment, sapphire processing, optical film components, optical coating materials and equipment, lenses, camera modules and accessories, camera manufacturing equipment, cameras, optical measuring instruments, optical imaging systems, machine vision, AR/VR, endoscopes.
• Infrared Applications and Intelligent Sensing: infrared materials and components, infrared equipment and imaging, millimetre-wave technology, terahertz monitoring and imaging, UV technology, LiDAR (components, systems and solutions), 3D imaging and sensing, 3D cameras, biometrics, MEMS and sensors, millimetre-wave radar, industrial sensors, testing and manufacturing equipment.
• Digital Transformation: solutions, technologies and digital hardware for the digital and green transition in optoelectronics – production optimisation and quality control, digital design and simulation, Big Data in R&D.
• Display Technology and Photonics Innovation: super-resolution optical systems, display manufacturing equipment, display materials, panels and modules, terminal display products; plus space for research institutes, universities and colleges, incubators, specialised new enterprises and high-tech companies.

   The organisers target a professional audience:

• government agencies, organisations and associations;
• optics and optoelectronics professionals;
• investment consultants, academies and universities;
• technical and industry consultants;
• manufacturing and trading companies, researchers;
• trade media and the interested public.

   Alongside the booths runs a business programme: a Forum, a Conference and Business Matching sessions – the detailed agenda is still being updated on the official site – plus thematic seminars on industry trends, trade promotion programmes and factory tours. For exhibitors it is a direct channel to Vietnamese and international partners and a way into the global optoelectronics supply chain; for visitors, three days to review optical communication, precision optics, sensors, lasers, infrared, photonics and display solutions in one place.

   The exhibition is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00; entry for trade visitors is free with prior registration, and visitor registration and booth booking are handled on the organisers' website.
