VIIF 2026 – Vietnam International Industrial Fair

   From 9 to 11 September 2026 Hanoi hosts VIIF 2026 — the Vietnam International Industrial Fair, a specialised international exhibition of industrial machinery, equipment and technology. The venue is Trung tâm Hội chợ Triển lãm Việt Nam (VEC) in Đông Anh: the complex opened on 19 August 2025, covers some 90 hectares and is presented by its operator as the largest exhibition centre in Southeast Asia; it stands where three Hanoi bridges meet — Đông Trù, Nhật Tân and Tứ Liên — a 3–5 minute drive from West Lake. The fair is run by VEFAC (Công ty Cổ phần Trung tâm Hội chợ Triển lãm Việt Nam), the company that operates VEC.

   VIIF has been held annually since 1991 under the direction of the Prime Minister and with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Across more than 30 editions it has become one of the most reputable trade promotion events of Vietnam's processing and manufacturing industry. In 2026 the format shifts: VIIF becomes the specialised industrial hall of Vietnam Industry & Technology Week 2026 (VITW 2026), staged by VEC at the same venue on the same dates.

   The fair itself is announced at nearly 30,000 sqm of exhibition space with more than 1,000 domestic and international companies. According to the organiser, the Week as a whole will cover over 80,000 sqm, gather exhibitors from 40 countries and is expected to draw more than 70,000 visitors. The previous edition, VITW 2025, brought together 620 domestic and foreign enterprises, ran 126 business matching sessions and produced contracts worth over VND 600 billion; 96% of attendees said they would return in 2026.

   The exhibition sectors span the whole industrial chain:

• industrial machinery and equipment;
• machine tools, cutting tools and tooling;

   The announced product list shows what will actually be on the stands:

• welding equipment: smart three-head IF welders, two-head nut projection welders, medium-frequency spot welders for EV wiring harnesses, arc welders for automotive aluminium, medium-frequency welders for energy-absorbing boxes, DC resistance welders;
• handheld laser welders, laser and arc welding robot stations, spot-welding robots for sunroofs and body pillars and for EV battery boxes;
• CNC machines — milling machines, lathes, machining centres; consumables for wire EDM and hole-drilling machines, milling and turning tools, hard alloys, drawing dies;
• vibratory bowl feeders; drive shafts, electric and gripper cylinders, single- and multi-axis robots, desktop robots;
• bearings and bushings, three-phase motors, brakes, oil seals, linear rails and sliders, cable chains, plastic bushings, control cables, drive chains, conveyors;
• e-chain® cable carriers, chainflex® moving cables, lubrication-free bearings, Low Cost Automation solutions, ISO Class 1 cleanroom components;
• anodizing and electroplating equipment; metallurgical complexes — complete lines from iron ore preparation to non-ferrous metal processing;
• industrial aluminium profiles: machine parts, solar panel frames, conveyor profiles, heat sinks, cleanroom aluminium;
• electric hoists, overhead cranes, hydraulic cylinders and power units, pumps and valves, screw compressors, pressure vessels, universal couplings;
• solenoid valves, glue guns, distribution controllers, Firestone air springs; automatic filters for lubricating oil, fuel and water;
• video measuring machines, digital microscopes for quality control and electronic component inspection, circuit testing equipment, industrial robots;
• magnetizers, magnets, product screening machines; forged agricultural machinery parts;
• electric cargo carts and three- and four-wheel electric vehicles for workshops, warehouses, farms and construction sites;
• industrial fans (ceiling, mobile, negative-pressure), evaporative coolers; conductive film for touchscreens;
• sensors for shipbuilding and industrial manufacturing, generator shaft seal-oil and stator water-cooling systems, equipment control panels; street lamps with built-in cameras, asphalt roofing sheets;
• energy-saving, high-performance and explosion-proof motors, including variable-frequency and aluminium-housing versions.

   The fair targets the professional audience VIIF has built over three decades:

• manufacturers in the processing and engineering industries sourcing equipment;
• distributors and importers of machinery and industrial equipment;
• procurement and supply managers looking for vendors;
• supporting-industry companies and subcontractors entering supply chains;
• foreign exhibitors seeking entry to the Vietnamese market;
• engineers, technologists and automation specialists.

   The business side is built around direct negotiation: the organiser runs business matching sessions (126 of them in 2025) alongside talks at the stands, and offers exhibitors standard 3 × 3 × 2.5 m booths with fittings (fascia board, table, two chairs, lighting, power socket, carpet) or custom-built stands.
