GREENECO VIETNAM EXPO 2026 – International Exhibition on Environment, Energy and Green Transition
National Convention Center (NCC)
Free
Business Events700 booths from more than 350 manufacturers, laid out in one complex on Hanoi's northern edge: microchips and semiconductors, electronics, precision engineering, automation equipment and the component suppliers behind all of it. If you are sourcing parts inside Vietnam instead of importing them, comparing automation vendors for a plant, or simply want to see what the capital's factories can build now, this is a day spent talking to the people who make the hardware rather than to their agents.
Hanoi MIP Fair is organised by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade (Sở Công Thương Hà Nội), with the Hanoi Centre for Industry and Trade Promotion (Trung tâm Khuyến công và Xúc tiến thương mại Hà Nội) running it day to day. This year the fair sits inside Vietnam Industry and Technology Week, VITW 2026, whose theme reads «Công nghệ dẫn dắt - Công nghiệp chuyển mình - Bứt phá vươn xa» — technology leads, industry transforms, the breakthrough reaches further. Exhibitors in the MIP hall are announced from 34 provinces and cities, which after Vietnam's 2025 administrative reform means the entire country, plus more than 10 countries and territories.
Programme announced by the organisers
Opening ceremony for 350 guests: central ministry officials, Hanoi city leadership, municipal departments, industry associations
Themed exhibition: 700 booths from over 350 companies in key industrial products, high-tech manufacturing and supporting industries, Vietnamese and foreign
Two to three strategic forums for around 200 participants, including foreign expert and buyer delegations
A dedicated business-matching area with tables, equipment and interpreters on request
Award ceremony honouring Hanoi's key industrial products of 2026
The fair is open to every registered visitor — manufacturers hunting for suppliers and technology, domestic and international buyers, engineers, technical students, and anyone curious about new machinery. Stands are grouped by sector in advance: mechanical engineering, supporting industries, automation, electrics and electronics, green industry, production technology and industrial logistics, so you can plan a route instead of wandering. A series of thematic workshops with Vietnamese and foreign speakers runs alongside the exhibition floor.
Context helps here. The last three editions were held each November at the ICE centre on 91 Trần Hưng Đạo downtown; the 2025 fair gathered close to 300 booths from over 200 companies from Vietnam, China, the United States, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia, covering semiconductors, microchips, electronic components, automation gear, consumer electronics and new energy, with Samsung, TCL, ZTE, Yadea and Longqi holding talks and matchmaking sessions. Moving to VEC has more than doubled the floor. In April 2026 an organising delegation spent five days in Germany meeting German-Vietnamese business associations and sounding out European brands.
The venue is new too. VEC opened on 19 August 2025 after ten months of construction, covers a 900,000 m² site and stands where three bridges meet — Đông Trù, Nhật Tân and Tứ Liên — on the far bank of the Red River, a 3–5 minute drive from West Lake by the operator's own estimate. Over the same three days the whole complex is taken up by VITW 2026: more than 2,000 booths from over 200 leading companies, upwards of 70,000 visitors expected, with zones for robotics and automation, hardware and hand tools, new energy technology, green building and the automotive industry, and names such as Keyence, HELUKABEL, Kobelco Compressors, Neuromeka and VinFast.
Visitor badges are free, but you need to register in advance on the organisers' site. International buyers who register with the organisers are offered two free hotel nights near the venue plus airport–hotel–exhibition transfers, and the B2B matching form lets you request an interpreter in English, Chinese, Korean or Japanese. Organisers' email: [email protected].
Register early to get your badge and a matching slot.
Three days, 700 booths and one bridge crossing. Pick your sectors before you go, and you will get far more out of the trip than a bag of brochures.
