HE EXPO 2026 – Vietnam International Hardware, Hand Tools, Fasteners & Electromechanical Equipment Exhibition

   From 9 to 11 September 2026 the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi hosts HE EXPO 2026, the third edition of the Vietnam International Hardware, Hand Tools, Fasteners and Electromechanical Equipment Exhibition. It is a specialised B2B show for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and buyers working with hardware, tools, fastening products and electromechanical equipment. The organiser is Camel Exhibition and Trade Promotion Co., Ltd; the co-organisers are Guangxi Camel GTS Exhibition Events Service Co., Ltd and Guangxi VN-CN Convention Exhibition and Business Co., Ltd. Earlier editions were held at the I.C.E Hanoi International Exhibition Center (2024) and at VEC (2025).

   The organisers expect the 2026 edition to reach a scale of more than 400 international booths, over 6 national pavilions — among them Vietnam, China, Russia, South Korea, Germany and Singapore — and more than 15,000 buyers and visitors. The 2025 edition gathered 222 companies from 7 countries and territories (China, South Korea, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, Singapore) and drew 5,426 visitors; the combined display area, staged together with the 31st Vietnam International Industrial Fair (VIIF), exceeded 9,500 sqm, with more than 350 exhibiting companies from close to 10 countries and regions and nearly 10,000 professional visitors. A highlight of the previous edition was the large-scale presence of smart-equipment makers from Dongguan and Shenzhen, China.

   The show is built around five exhibit sectors that together cover almost the entire hardware and mechanical supply chain:

• Hardware tools: manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools; grinding tools, gardening tools, DIY tools, automotive maintenance tools, measuring tools, transport and lifting tools, cutting and shaping tools, explosion-proof tools, weighing tools, tool boxes and common accessories; diamond cutting and grinding tools.
• Hardware products: hardware ware, stainless steel products, knives, scissors, locks; valves, bearings, drill bits, washers, hydraulic parts, wheels, trusses and hangers, chains, nets, standard screws; gift hardware, craft hardware, skateboard hardware; safety and personal protective equipment, outdoor recreation and travel items, stationery.
• Fastening and durable materials: screws, nuts and bolts; special automotive connectors, rivet components, specially shaped metal moulds; carbon steel, stainless steel wire and special steels; cold forming equipment, heat treatment and surface treatment technology, related moulds, testing and laboratory equipment.
• Construction hardware: building materials; door and window hardware, bathroom hardware, furniture and interior decoration hardware; water valves, shower heads, pipe connectors; locks, security equipment, electrical equipment.
• Electromechanical products and accessories: industrial automation, machine tools and moulds, metalworking, motors, air compressors, welding and cutting machines, grinding machines, cleaning machines, valves and pumps, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic lifting platforms, gear reducers, turbines, drilling tables and electromechanical accessories.

   Alongside everyday industrial goods, HE EXPO 2026 puts a distinct accent on high-precision technology: precision machinery, CNC machine tools, laser engraving machines, welding equipment and mechanical accessories. According to the organisers, these are the smart manufacturing solutions meant to support the high-quality development of Vietnam's Industry 4.0 and to provide a platform for technical exchange and cooperation between domestic and foreign companies.

   The organisers explain the choice of Vietnam as the venue with market figures:

• Industry and services account for 85% of Vietnam's GDP; demand for industrial production and processing is huge, yet most technology and products still depend on imports.
• GDP growth reached 5.05% in 2023, among the highest in the world; Fitch Ratings forecast 6.3% and 7.0% for 2024 and 2025.
• Vietnam has become one of the world's top 20 economies by trade volume.
• Total imports in 2023 came to about USD 328 billion, of which roughly USD 111.6 billion came from China, Vietnam's largest import market; machinery, equipment and spare parts alone account for tens of billions of USD imported from China every year.

   The three-day exhibition is expected to attract close to 10,000 professional visitors from a range of fields. The show is aimed at:

• Manufacturers of industrial equipment, industrial technology products and industrial spare parts.
• Importers, distributors, dealers and buyers in hardware, hand tools and fasteners.
• Mechanical engineering, metalworking, supporting industry and automation companies.
• Construction contractors and specialists in interiors, doors and windows, and sanitary ware — the audience for the construction hardware sector.
• Factory procurement departments, engineers, technical and maintenance staff.

   The supporting programme announced by the organisers combines trade promotion with technical content:

• B2B matchmaking between buyers and exhibitors.
• International cooperation forum.
• Supply-and-demand connection conference.
• Sessions on investment promotion policy.
• Industry seminars on new technology and market trends; exhibitors attend free of charge, receive a company and product listing in the bilingual Vietnamese-English catalogue, and are issued entry badges and visitor invitations.

   The exhibition is open from 09:00 to 17:00 on 9–11 September 2026; entry is free with visitor registration. Exhibitors take over their booths from 8 September 2026 and are expected to be on the stand from 08:30 to 17:30 each day. A standard booth measures 3m x 3m (aluminium frame, 2.5m white walls, company fascia board, one information desk, two chairs, two lights, a 220V socket and carpet); raw indoor space is available from a minimum of 18 sqm for custom design and construction.
