About the event

The sky below 1,000 metres gets its own trade show in Vietnam for the first time, and it lands in Hanoi for three days. If you source hardware, look for a technology partner or simply want to know how far the country's drone industry has come, this is the floor that shows you the whole chain.

Crop-spraying drones, aircraft that inspect bridges and power lines, eVTOL air taxis and counter-UAV systems all stand close enough to touch, with the people who built them next to the stand. The organisers put the expected scale at 300+ booths, 10,000+ buyers and trade visitors, exhibitors from 10+ countries and territories, 20+ international speakers, more than ten workshops and 50+ live demos. Formally this is a themed exhibition inside the Hi-Tech Vietnam 2026 cluster of high-tech and digital-economy events, but it runs its own forum, its own conference programme and its own exhibitor list.

   Programme day by day
9 September — opening ceremony (09:00–10:00), the Vietnam Low-Altitude Economy International Forum (10:15–12:30, 500+ attendees expected), a workshop on UAV policies and regulations in Vietnam (14:00–16:30), exhibition and product demos (14:00–17:00)
10 September — investment and startup connection conference for the drone sector (09:00–10:30), international business exchange in the UAV sector (11:00–12:30), exhibition and product demos (14:00–17:00), B2B business networking (14:30–17:00)
11 September — outdoor UAV flight demonstration on the square (09:00–11:00), exhibition and product demos (09:00–16:00), closing session (15:00–16:00)

The floor is split into eight themed areas:

  • — civil and industrial UAV and drone manufacturing
  • — components and core technology: flight controllers, cameras, sensors, chips
  • — drone logistics, delivery and automated transport
  • — agricultural UAVs: spraying and crop monitoring
  • — terrain surveying and 3D mapping
  • — urban and infrastructure UAVs: inspection of bridges, roads, power lines and structures
  • — environmental and emergency-response UAVs: forest and sea monitoring, search and rescue
  • — low-altitude air traffic and UAV security: air taxis, eVTOL, anti-UAV technology

Among the participating companies announced by the organisers are FPT Corporation, Viettel Group, CT Group Vietnam, which builds «Make in Vietnam» UAVs, and the drone and FPV component supplier Vietdrone. The Vietnamese business magazine Doanh nghiệp và Hội nhập, quoting the organisers' registration list, adds agricultural drones from Agridrone, gimbals and EO/IR payloads from Gremsy, «Make in Vietnam» aircraft from Real-Time Robotics Vietnam, and dual-use UAVs from Saolatek, plus Drone-in-a-Box solutions and autonomous patrol robots.

The event is aimed at UAV manufacturers and operators, logistics, agriculture, infrastructure and environmental companies, research institutes and technology startups, investors and regulators, industry specialists and anyone simply curious about the field. Visitors get the themed seminars, hands-on time with the hardware, technology pitching and demo slots, and B2B matchmaking; companies get a stand, sponsorship options and, as the organisers promise, networking with more than 1,000 businesses.

The wider context explains the ambition: expert estimates cited by the organisers put the potential of Vietnam's low-altitude economy at around $10 billion, along with hundreds of thousands to millions of high-quality jobs over the next 10–15 years. The opening-day forum goes straight at the bottlenecks — the UAV industrial ecosystem, UAV and robotics supply chains, unmanned traffic management (UTM), domestic manufacturing capacity, policy, infrastructure and flight testing.

The patrons listed are the Ministry of Science and Technology (Bộ Khoa học và Công nghệ, MOST), the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Bộ Công Thương, MOIT), the National Innovation Center (Trung tâm Đổi mới sáng tạo Quốc gia, NIC) and the Security Industry Department of the Ministry of Public Security. Partners include the Vietnam Low Altitude Economy alliance (LAE), the AUVS Vietnam network, the Korea Association for Photonics Industry Development (KAPID) and the Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Industry Association; the show is produced by Camel Events, Globaexpo and VN-CN Exhibition.

The venue sits in Đông Anh, on the northern side of the Red River, so allow for the drive out of the centre. Questions about participation packages and visiting arrangements go to the organisers at [email protected], Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00.

Three days are enough to walk one full chain, from a chip and a gimbal to a finished aircraft and the rules that will let it fly. Come with a specific question rather than general curiosity — this is a floor that rewards it.
