Exhibition «EV SHOW 2026» (electric vehicles, charging and battery swapping)

#exhibition#electric vehicles#charging stations#battery swapping#auto components#VEC#Hanoi

About the event

An entire electric-vehicle supply chain laid out under one roof: battery packs and traction motors, high-voltage wiring and connectors, charging piles and battery-swap systems, and finished cars, scooters and utility vehicles you can actually sit in. The halls are in Đông Anh on Hanoi's northern edge, roughly 16 km from the city centre, and for three days you can talk to the people who build this hardware instead of to their distributors.

The organisers frame this edition around the theme «Xây dựng hệ sinh thái công nghiệp Việt Nam mở – cùng thắng» — building an open, win-win Vietnamese industrial ecosystem. Announced scale: 50,000 m² of exhibition space, more than 1,000 Vietnamese and international companies, 30,000+ buyers and trade visitors from over 10 countries and territories.

The market numbers explain why this show exists at all. Two-wheeler EV sales in Vietnam grew 99.2% year on year in 2025, and the organisers cite forecasts that electric vehicles will take 20% of the market by 2030, on a fleet of more than 30 million. The bottlenecks are the actual agenda here: a thin domestic supply chain, core technology still imported, charging infrastructure rolled out unevenly and industry standards that are still unfinished.

Seven exhibit zones are mapped out in advance, so you can plan a route rather than wander:

  • — complete new-energy vehicles: electric cars, e-bikes and e-scooters, four-wheel leisure vehicles, agricultural and special-purpose models, forklifts, electric boats (80+ booths)
  • — batteries, motors and control systems: battery packs and modules, electrolytes, separator materials, cathode and anode materials (50+ booths)
  • — EV wiring and connectors: high-voltage power cable, BMS signal harnesses, pack connectors, terminals, conduits and fixings (95+ booths)
  • — components and production equipment: welding and assembly automation, painting and surface treatment, lightweighting materials, quality-control systems, end-of-life battery recycling (65+ booths)
  • — charging stations and related infrastructure: smart charging technology, integrated solar-storage-charging solutions, hydrogen fuel cells and refuelling equipment (50+ booths)
  • — automotive electronics and connected vehicles: automotive chips, power semiconductors, ECUs, automotive PCBs, in-car displays, intelligent driving systems (75+ booths)
  • — new technologies, materials and services: technology transfer, OEM/ODM, project investment and partnerships

The conference programme runs day by day. The opening day starts with the ceremony in the main hall, followed by the International Conference on New Energy Supply Chains and the EV Ecosystem in Vietnam 2026; the afternoon is given to a branding and supply-chain marketing session with a smart-driving test session alongside it. Day two puts B2B trading sessions in the morning and an afternoon field trip to several Vietnamese EV manufacturing plants. The final day brings a conference on connecting and upgrading Vietnam's EV component suppliers, then the closing ceremony.

If you are coming for business rather than for a look around, the AI matching system is the part that pays for the trip: the organisers pair buyers with exhibitors against declared requirements and expect over 1,500 B2B meetings and more than $300 million in deal value. B2B Matching is a separate sign-up from ordinary visitor registration.

The audience the show is built for: EV makers and assemblers, component and supporting-industry suppliers, importers and distributors, charging-network operators, investors, research institutes and engineering students. Exhibitors are promised access to 10,000+ potential customers and 500+ partner companies; visitors get free thematic seminars and direct contact with manufacturers.

You are not travelling out here for one show. The same VEC grounds host VIIF 2026 (the 32nd Vietnam International Industrial Fair), Vieexpo 2026 on clean energy and lighting, Hi-Tech Vietnam, UAV Vietnam, AI & Dig Show and Visotech at the same time; across the series as a whole the organisers expect 300+ trade delegations. Each has its own registration.

VEC is a new exhibition complex in Đông Anh: eight main halls of 2,000–8,000 m² each, 15 conference rooms, capacity up to 15,000 people and parking for 2,000 cars. From central Hanoi it is about 16 km — 30–40 minutes by taxi or Grab, or bus 23TC from Hanoi Railway Station and bus E08TC from Times City. From Nội Bài airport it is about 20 km, 20–30 minutes by car or around an hour on bus E10. Cổ Loa Citadel, the capital of the ancient Âu Lạc state, is right next door if you have an hour after the business part.

Visitors register online in advance; a QR code arrives by email and is scanned at the gate in exchange for a badge. Beyond the contact shown in the event details, the organisers answer at [email protected], through Ms Hai (Hải) at +84 912 494 646 ([email protected]) and on Zalo OA zalo.me/camelevents.

Vietnam's EV industry is still assembling its own foundations, which is exactly why a trade floor like this one is worth the trip north — come with a shortlist of what you need to source.
