«Save Turtles Run 2026» Charity Race

   Con Dao is one of the few places in Vietnam where sea turtles still come ashore to nest every year. This annual race, launched by the AKYN Hotel Group and The Secret Con Dao, exists for exactly that reason; its message runs «every step, a thousand green miles».

   Three distances: 5, 10 and 21 km. The route crosses an island that has kept its wild character, where sea and forest sit side by side — running here is nothing like running in a city, and that is why most participants come.

   The race is open to all levels, from first-timers to seasoned amateurs. The organisers' stated aim is raising awareness of turtle conservation and promoting sustainable tourism on the island.
