Race «UpRace Day 2026»

What began as a community fundraising run has covered enough ground to be measured in millions of kilometres - and this season's closing celebration takes place right on VNG's campus in District 7.

UpRace launched in 2018 as a free community running project blending sport, technology and charity: participants log distance through an app, and every kilometre converts into a donation for partner social organisations. Between 2018 and 2025, UpRace drew more than 914,000 participants, who together logged 27 million km and raised close to 36 billion VND for beneficiary organisations.

UpRace 2026 marks a shift: from a community race, the project is expanding into a nationwide sports ecosystem for the community. UpRace Day 2026 - the in-person meet-up and run that closes out the season - takes place on Sunday, 1 November 2026, at VNG Campus, Tan Thuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together thousands of runners, corporate teams, partners, clubs and students who took part over the season.

Three distances on the day: 5km, 10km and 21km (half marathon).

The event is organised by VNG Corporation and run by Delta Advertising. For those who have been logging kilometres through the app all season, UpRace Day is the first chance to meet fellow participants in person after weeks of running solo; for newcomers, it is the fastest way to feel the scale of Vietnam's biggest running-for-good movement. If you have ever run toward a fundraising goal without meeting anyone running alongside you, 1 November is the day to share a start line with them.

Registration and the distance-by-distance price list are on the official event page.
