«Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon 2026»

   Vietnam's largest marathon runs through central Saigon while the city sleeps: the start on Lê Duẩn before dawn, the Ba Son bridge over the Saigon River, a loop around the Thủ Thiêm peninsula, and sunrise at the foot of Landmark 81 around the 36-kilometre mark.

   This is the ninth season, organised by Sunrise Events Vietnam (Pulse Active), on an AIMS-certified course.

   The essentials:

• — The marathon route takes in the Nguyễn Huệ walking street, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Ba Son bridge, Thủ Thiêm and the Bạch Đằng waterfront
• — Cut-offs from the last start wave: 6h30 for the marathon, 4h for the half, 2h for 10K, 1h for 5K
• — Minimum ages: 18 for the marathon, 16 for the half, 14 for 10K, 10 for 5K
• — The Kids Run (1.5 km for ages 5–10, 3 km for 7–14) takes place the day before on a closed loop around Nguyễn Huệ
• — The 2025 edition drew more than 23,200 registered runners from 78 countries

   It works both for runners chasing a time — flat, certified, well marshalled — and for families, since the children's day sits apart from the adult waves.

   The official site still shows only the Early Bird table, closed on 30 January 2026; current pricing has not been republished.

   Running an empty city centre that spends every other morning in gridlock is the whole point of being there.
