Running race «Tết Run miền Nam 2027»

   A race run simultaneously at both ends of the country in the week before Tết: on the morning of Sunday 24 January 2027, Tết Run miền Nam starts at Vinhomes Grand Park in eastern Ho Chi Minh City, in parallel with Tết Run miền Bắc at Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 in Hanoi. Registration opened on 22 September, with the lowest fee at 678,000 VND.

   The organisers describe the race as a «bridge between the two regions»: as you cross the finish line in Saigon under pre-Tết sunshine, a teammate in the capital is raising a medal in the northern wind.    For recreational runners who want to close the year with a festive race, for families and groups planning to run together in Tết colours, and for runners coming to Saigon early for the holiday. Vinhomes Grand Park is in Long Bình ward, roughly half an hour from the centre; the exact entrance and start time will be sent to registered runners.
