Culinary evening «Trăng Thu 2026» (Autumn Moon)

   Once a year, on the night of the Mid-Autumn full moon, Hum Central closes its regular doors for an evening where fine dining, craft and traditional art share the same table. Inside a heritage post-office building behind Saigon's Central Post Office, guests eat a tasting menu while an artisan tells the story of a fading local craft right beside them.

   The evening of 25 September runs in three parts. It opens with welcome bites and a meeting with artisan Trần Xuân Duy, who keeps alive the Southern Vietnamese craft of glass painting (tranh kiếng) and talks through the stories behind it. Next comes the main event: a nine-course tasting menu by Hum Signature, built from Vietnamese produce at its seasonal peak and reworked through new techniques and textures. The night closes with a traditional performance staged under the moon, and guests leave with a small seasonal gift.

   Seats are sold as an experience, not a table, and the count is kept deliberately small to protect the intimate mood the evening is built around — this is for anyone who wants to mark Mid-Autumn slowly, over one dish and one craft story at a time, rather than in a crowd.

   The building is a heritage post office reached only by stairs through entrance 6, so dress for the climb. The event is for guests aged 15 and up.
