Concert «Classonic in Concert #4: Stardust» in Ho Chi Minh City
Hoa Binh Theatre
850,000 ₫ – 2,150,000 ₫
Culture and ArtsTwo hours in the circus arena inside Gia Dinh Park, north-west of the centre next to Tan Son Nhat airport: the lights drop, the drums start, and the five elements come onto the stage one at a time. You need no Vietnamese and no circus background — the whole piece is told through movement, sound and light.
The show follows each of the five elements of ngũ hành — metal, wood, water, fire and earth — from conflict to the point where they learn to work together and bring nature back into balance. Every element gets its own palette: the shimmering glow of metal, the fresh green of wood, the sparkle of water, the flames of fire and the warm brown of earth, all built with 3D lighting and stage effects. The sound design layers heavy drums, low melodies and the noise of nature — running water, burning fire, wind through the forest.
It is performed by artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Arts Center, the body created on 23 April 2025 by city decision 1566/QĐ-UBND out of the former Phuong Nam Art Theatre and two other municipal performing-arts units. «Vùng Đất Kỳ Bí» has been in the Gia Dinh Park circus repertoire since January 2025, and this season's run is billed as the ProMax version.
The 5pm slot works for families with children — you are out in time for dinner; the 8pm slot suits couples and groups making a night of it.
Start times move from date to date, so check yours before you set off. The next performances are 1 September at 8pm and 2 September, National Day itself, at 5pm. The hall then pauses and comes back on 12 September, and from there to the end of October the pattern is steady: one show on Saturdays, at 8pm, and one on Sundays, at 5pm. Doors open an hour before curtain, and seats are picked from a plan of six zones: VIP, A and B1-B4.
There is no language barrier here: the piece rests on acrobatics, light and music rather than dialogue. Ticket questions go to the hotline, 0931 477 699 or 0764 955 699.
If you have been meaning to see what Vietnamese circus looks like with a full technical budget behind it, this is a straightforward place to start.
