About the event

   Housing, genetics, feed, veterinary care, slaughter and processing rarely sit under one roof. For three October days in Ho Chi Minh City they do: over 300 brands spread across roughly 10,000 sqm, so one walk of the hall takes you from a premix supplier to a climate-controlled barn builder.

   This is the 14th edition of Vietstock, running since 2004 and now part of Informa Markets' Asian livestock series. The organisers expect around 13,000 trade visitors from 40 countries and territories. It is not only a show floor: the Forum half runs free technical seminars and international conferences alongside the stands.

   Programme highlights this year:

  • — the Antimicrobial Resistance Forum, one of the sharper debates in regional livestock farming;
  • — Vietstock Awards, now in their 13th year, for companies and farms;
  • — the Match & Meet business matching programme with pre-booked slots;
  • — Eggcellent Theatre, a dedicated stage for the egg and poultry sector;
  • — a Bus-in Program bringing delegations from Vietnam's main farming provinces.

   The floor is built for pig, poultry, dairy and aquaculture farm owners, feed millers, vets, meat processors and equipment distributors. People come to see machinery actually running, compare raw-material prices and find a supplier closer to their own farm.

   The industry behind those visitor numbers, in the figures of the Department of Livestock Production and Animal Health: Vietnam produced about 8.66 million tonnes of live-weight meat in 2025, up 4.3% on 2024. Poultry meat alone reached 2.6 million tonnes, up 5.9%; egg output came to roughly 21.4 billion, up 5.3%; the national poultry flock held at around 590 million birds. In the same year the country's agriculture, forestry and fishery exports passed US$70 billion for the first time, a 12% rise.

   A few things to know before you go. Visitor registration is free and online; the system emails a confirmation code, and you should bring it along with a business card. The organisers' rules forbid photography and video on the show floor without written consent, so do not plan on shooting competitors' stands. And one detail the schedule does not show: on the final day, 23 October, the halls close an hour early, at 16:00.

   The venue is in the Phu My Hung area in the south of the city, about 25 minutes by taxi from District 1. The show is run in Vietnam by SES Vietnam Exhibition Services.

   If a feed formula, a barn system or a new distributor has been on your list all year, this is the week that comparison takes a day rather than a quarter.
