   How do Hanoi's old villages live on among new urban districts? If you love the city and care about architecture, this Saturday afternoon coffee-and-dialogue session is for you.

   This architecture-themed edition of Cà phê Thứ Bảy (Saturday Coffee) takes Yên Hòa ward, the city's western gateway with the villages of Cót, Trung Kính and Hòa Mục, as a typical case: over the past 30 years the villages' fields have become new urban areas and modern roads, a process that needs study to understand its complex effects.

   Cà phê Thứ Bảy is a non-profit project founded and run by composer Dương Thụ in partnership with Trung Nguyên Legend. There are no tickets: before entering, guests order a drink from the menu, which covers the venue's running costs.

   Park motorbikes in the Park 2 basement (B1) or cars on B2, then walk to pillar C09 next to door P01 (Zone A, apartments 10-17), where staff will take you up.
