Improv show «Are You Afraid of the Dark?»

   Night falls, the campfire crackles and the stories start giving you goosebumps — except these ones begin with whatever scares you. At The Improv Hub in central Hanoi, the main cast puts on a night of improvised stories: a little spooky, full of surprises, yet warm and joyful enough to keep you from sleeping with the lights on.

   Nothing is scripted. A strange creature, a haunting fear or a secret kept hidden for far too long: the performers ask the audience what frightens them when darkness falls and turn the answers into stories right there on stage. The night belongs to the Hub's mainstage cast, directed by Ringo Sanchez.

   It is a family-friendly night: for lovers of campfire tales, for anyone who has been meaning to see improv live, and for those happy to hand the cast a fear of their own.

   The Improv Hub calls itself «the Hanoian home of improv»: it runs classes, courses and workshops, and its stage belongs to students and the main cast alike.

   The show is in English, possibly with other languages joining in. The lower price is for current Hub students and their friends. Seats are reserved in advance through a form on the Hub's website, with payment by bank transfer, and doors open half an hour before the start.
