Music festival «TIDES Festival 2027»

   See the year out not in a city crowd but on a tropical shore, with electronic music running from sunset to sunrise. The debut edition of TIDES takes over two New Year nights on Phu Quoc, bringing together 30 local and international selectors.

   The organisers pitch TIDES as an alternative to the commercial frenzy of city end-of-year celebrations: an immersive dive into forward-thinking electronic music rather than a mass-market countdown. The host is Happy Buddha — a club with over 13 years of history that the organisers themselves call a staple of the island's underground scene.

   Two stages shape the festival:
— the open-air beach stage: organic grooves from sunset to sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand
— the indoor club stage: darker peak-time sound rooted in European underground club culture and Vietnam's evolving sonic identity

   The programme spans two consecutive nights — New Year's Eve and 1 January — each running until 8 in the morning. The full line-up is yet to be announced; the genre frame is house and electro.
