«Ferragosto 2026» at La Festa Phu Quoc

   Ferragosto is the mid-August holiday when Italy empties its cities and heads for the coast. Vietnam has exactly one place that marks it, and this is the second year running: three days on Phu Quoc, from morning until the fireworks.

   What runs each day:

• — an arts and crafts market with Vietnamese and Italian workshops — charm-making, swimwear painting, shell figurines, pottery, chocolate-making and kombucha brewing;
• — the Summer Water Run along the Sunset Town promenade;
• — a foam pool party at the outdoor pool;
• — the centrepiece, «Pranzo di Ferragosto», a long seafood lunch in the spirit of the Italian original;
• — fireworks to close each evening.

   All eight of the resort's restaurants and bars are open across the festival, including several recent additions: Seta for Cantonese cooking, Finca as a Mediterranean-Spanish bistro, the rooftop bar Francesca and the jazz bar Luna Folk.

   It suits families already staying in An Thoi and anyone who would rather have a full day than a flat one on the sand. Sunset Town is at the southern tip of the island, about 40 minutes from the airport.

   Prices for individual activities have not been announced — check with the resort before planning a day around one specific workshop.
