Show «Awaken Sea»

   Just before the sun drops into the sea, the bay in front of the Kiss Bridge turns into a water stage: jet skis, flyboards and jetsurfs take the water apart in turn.

   The show runs about fifteen minutes and is built as eight linked scenes that move from heroic to romantic to outright explosive. Twenty-four international riders perform in rotation, among them world record holders in jetski and flyboard.

   The choreography borrows openly from the chase sequences of «James Bond» and «Mission: Impossible» — turns thrown tens of metres above the water, drifts that raise walls of spray. It closes with the Vietnamese national flag carried out across the bay.

   You can watch from the bridge itself, which gives a full 360° view, from the steps of the square, or from the seafront streets of Sunset Town.

   This is a permanent daily show rather than a one-off August event, so there is no particular date to chase — you only need to be in Sunset Town by sunset.
