Competition «Hamster Grand Show 2026»

   A hamster on the judging table, assessed in all seriousness against breed standards — ear shape, coat quality, bone structure. At the Hamster Grand Show, top animals from breeders across Vietnam enter a professional ring, judged by the criteria of the Hamster National Council (HNC) — just like at established cat and dog shows.

   Competition highlights

   The programme includes:
— top titles Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show
— breed categories: Syrian, Campbell, Winter White, Roborovski
— groups by coat type (long, short, rex) and colour, from agouti to dominant
— nearly 10 breeding farms and brands from Thailand and Malaysia taking part

   Who it's for

   Hamster owners and anyone about to get one: four hours are enough to see the whole spectrum of breeds and talk to breeders who take the craft seriously. Kids are guaranteed to love it.

   Visiting and taking part

   The show is part of Saigon PetFest within InterPetFest — the 3rd international pet expo and festival in Ho Chi Minh City. Festival entry is free with online visitor registration; the organiser publishes the free entrance code mustvisitpetexpo. Contest entries for pets are accepted by phone.
