Dance Showcase «Bzone Be Zestful 2026»

   For a lot of young dancers in Saigon, this was the first stage they ever stood on: late-night rehearsals with friends, the nerves behind the curtain, and the moment the lights come up and there is no backing out. After several annual editions, Bzone Dance Group is closing its flagship showcase with a single farewell night.

   The team calls it the final chapter. New showcases will follow, with new concepts and new names, but there will no longer be a stage called Be Zestful. The programme is put together as a goodbye rather than an end-of-term recital.

   The short version of what is on:

• — pieces choreographed by Bzone's own choreographers and instructors specifically for this night;
• — student performances, from first-timers to groups who have trained for years;
• — «secret» numbers announced nowhere in advance and shown only here;
• — guest performers;
• — mini games and giveaways for the audience between blocks.

   It suits you if you already dance or are shopping around for a studio: one programme covers the full range of levels, from a first walk into the spotlight to group routines that have been drilled hard. Friends and families of the performers need no explanation — and if you want to see Saigon's dance community somewhere other than a bar or a street event, this is a chance to watch it properly, seated.

   Hoàng Thái Thanh Drama Theater is a well-known spoken-theatre stage a short ride from the centre, which makes it an unusual pick for a dance showcase: the audience faces a proscenium, and the lighting and sound are rigged for plays. Routines read closer to a staged production than to a party.
