Saigon Tango Weekend

   For three days, Saigon's tango community gathers for something deliberately small and warm — a weekend built around the embrace rather than the size of the crowd.

   The idea behind Saigon Tango Weekend is a true boutique gathering where connection comes first: a cosy space for quality dancing, thoughtful learning and the sincere social spirit of tango. Numbers are intentionally limited, so the embraces stay personal, the faces familiar and the dance floor feels like home.

   Its roots go back to the Ta.Tango tradition, running since 2008. STW brings together dancers, teachers, musicians and tango lovers from Vietnam and beyond for three days of rest for the mind, refined technique, gentle embraces, beautiful moments — and plenty of Vietnamese food.

   Leading it are maestros Silvina Tse and Julio Alvarez.

   What awaits you:

• an intensive four-hour seminar with world-class teachers, followed by a healthy lunch;
• three traditional milongas, dancing into the late night;
• inspiring performances by the artists;
• progressive workshops that build step by step;
• five themed workshops in total.

   Whether you've been dancing tango for years or you're ready to go deeper into it, this is a weekend to practise, meet other dancers and settle into the scene in District 3.
