Play «Hẹn Nhau Ở Cuối Con Đường» (A Rendezvous at the End of the Road)

Tuấn and Hiền fall in love amid years of upheaval, but their promise to each other gets lost in the storm of the times. Twenty years later, Tuấn returns from abroad to find her again - and runs into some uncomfortable truths. «Hẹn Nhau Ở Cuối Con Đường» (A Rendezvous at the End of the Road) is Hoang Thai Thanh's new play about a promise that couldn't be kept on time.

The cast is led by Hồng Ánh, with Trí Quang, Thành Hội, Ái Như, Hoàng Vân Anh and other members of the resident company.

One performance left in October: Saturday, 31 October, at 7pm. Tickets start at 280,000₫, non-refundable once bought.

A story of love pulled apart by history, for those after psychological depth rather than light entertainment. It's in Vietnamese with no subtitles. Staged for adult audiences: children under 6 shouldn't attend, and over 6 they need their own ticket.

Worth it if you're curious to see film actress Hồng Ánh on a straight-drama stage rather than on screen - a rare chance. The venue is a 4th-floor black box at 139 Bắc Hải; only two dates this month, so book ahead.
