Conference «Venture Capital World Summit Ho Chi Minh City 2027»

   Half a day in which a Vietnamese founder can end up at the same table as a venture fund, an angel investor and a family office. The format in Ho Chi Minh City is deliberately small: a delegates roundtable instead of a thousand-seat hall, short presentations, elevator pitching and evening networking. If you are raising capital in Vietnam, or looking for the teams worth backing, both sides spend the afternoon in one room.

   The Ho Chi Minh City date belongs to the international World Series, which in a single March runs through Jakarta, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore. The Vietnamese stop sits between the Tokyo edition on 16 March and the Singapore edition on 23 March. The organiser describes the role of each: Tokyo for industrial innovation and semiconductors, Ho Chi Minh City for engineering talent, manufacturing and digital entrepreneurship, Singapore for regional capital and family offices.

   The themes the organiser puts on the table for Vietnam are applied artificial intelligence in manufacturing and enterprise software, fintech and digital payments, e-commerce infrastructure, logistics and supply chains, manufacturing technology, cybersecurity, HealthTech and ClimateTech. A separate strand covers what investors now expect from a team: not market potential in the abstract, but revenue, customer retention, capital efficiency and a clear route to commercialisation.

   Three groups have a reason to come. Founders at Seed and Series A stage, to put a product in front of the people who decide about money.    Attendance is paid, registration is already open and every category is in stock.    One practical note: the daytime conference runs in a meeting centre on the fourteenth floor of an office tower, while the evening networking moves to a restaurant nearby.
