Exhibition «Vietwater 2026»

   Drinking water, sewerage, effluent treatment and urban flood defence stopped being niche engineering topics in Vietnam a long time ago. Once a year the whole sector converges on Ho Chi Minh City: 12,000 sqm of stands, equipment you normally only see in catalogues, and the engineers who can explain how it actually performs.

   Vietwater is Vietnam's largest B2B trade show for water supply, sanitation and water treatment, and it has been running for more than 16 years. Its organiser, Informa Markets Vietnam, puts the current scale at 450+ exhibiting companies from 25 countries and territories, 12,000 sqm of floor space and over 11,000 trade visitors.

   This edition does not stand alone. Sharing the hall are WETV Waste Expo, covering waste treatment and environmental technology, and Flood Control & Disaster Management Vietnam, built around flood mitigation and disaster risk management. The pairing is deliberate: in Vietnam, water, waste and urban infrastructure tend to be procured as one package.

   The essentials — what the programme is made of:

• — industry conferences — past editions drew government departments, water associations from across Southeast Asia and European specialists;
• — technical seminars and live product demonstrations run by the suppliers themselves;

• — an e-show directory of exhibitors, opened up to registered visitors;
• — two co-located shows, WETV Waste Expo and Flood Control & Disaster Management Vietnam.

   The show pays off most for people who handle water professionally: utilities and network operators, plant directors and chief engineers, treatment-plant designers, industrial park managers, suppliers of pumps, membranes, sensors and chemicals, and infrastructure investors. If you are coming for the market picture rather than a specific purchase, the conference track is where you see where Vietnam's water sector is heading — and who to talk to about it.

   The timing is not accidental. The organisers lean on Roland Berger's study «Six Growth Trends Transforming the Global Water Market», which puts six forces behind the global water market: smart water analytics (AI, digital twins, predictive maintenance), smart metering with early leak detection, stormwater management, treatment of persistent contaminants such as PFAS, alternative supplies through desalination and water reuse, and modular treatment plants. For a country with fast urbanisation, salinity intrusion in the Mekong Delta and annual urban flooding, most of that list is a budget line rather than a forecast.

   The exhibition occupies Hall A, the main hall of the complex, in the Phú Mỹ Hưng area in the south of the city. Entry is by advance online visitor registration: you confirm your email, complete the form, and collect your badge at the registration counter on site. A separate group programme applies from four delegates upwards — pre-printed badges, e-directory access and priority for the alongside events; from eight people lunch is included, from ten an organised shuttle (for groups travelling from Bình Dương, Đồng Nai, Bình Phước, Vũng Tàu and Long An).
