Half marathon «Song Hong Hanoi Half Marathon 2026»

   One of Hanoi's longest-running community races returns in mid-November, when the capital's weather is at its kindest for distance running. For many local runners and expats this half marathon is simply part of the autumn calendar — a race people come back to year after year.

   The Song Hong Half Marathon has completed 16 editions; the 2025 race took place at Ciputra with a mixed field of Vietnamese and international runners. The 2026 edition is listed on the VBM race calendar for 15 November, again at Ciputra Hanoi International City in the north of the city.

   Distances:

   — 21km — the headline distance
— 10km and 5km
— 2km and a 500m kids run

   It is a genuinely family-friendly event: from a 500m dash for the youngest to the full half marathon. The vibe is closer to a neighbourhood festival than an elite race — you run alongside friends, colleagues and half the expat community of Tay Ho.

   The organizer, Skyrun Sports, has not yet opened registration or announced 2026 prices — updates will appear on the race's official website.
