Pickleball tournament «Viet Nam Startup Pickleball Cup 2026»

   Some working relationships form faster over a mixed-doubles rally than over three rounds of pitching. The first pickleball tournament run by Hanoi's startup community puts founders, investors and ecosystem people on the same court, where a job title does nothing for your forehand.

   The tournament is organised by Hanoi Union Pickleball as part of Viet Nam Startup Community Day 2026, the week marking ten years of the TAOStartup community. The draw is capped at 64 players — 32 pairs — competing in mixed doubles.

   How it is played:

   • round-robin group stage, top two pairs from each group advance;

   • straight knockout from there to the final;

   • anyone entering alone is matched with a partner of similar level by the organisers.

   It is aimed at founders, business owners, C-level executives and people working across the startup ecosystem. Because pairing accounts for playing level, you can enter as a beginner and still get court time rather than spectating. The entry fee goes entirely towards running the event.

   The tournament closes the Viet Nam Startup Community Day 2026 week, whose main conference day takes place a couple of days earlier at Học viện Công nghệ Bưu chính Viễn thông (the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, PTIT) — also in Ha Dong, close to the courts. If you are in Hanoi for the whole week, this is the last item on the schedule and by far the least formal one.
