Talk «AI làm hình, mình làm gì?» (AI makes the visuals, so what do I do?)

How do you use AI for visuals and still keep your own signature? This Sunday morning at DAS Hanoi in Complex 01, Saigon designer Mack Trịnh shows how he brings AI into his design work, through concrete examples from someone working in the field.

   The talk covers three threads:

• — Putting AI on the right tasks: combining it with familiar design tools, from image generation and type effects to mockups.
• — Staying the one who directs: understanding the context, setting the brief, then selecting and editing so the result serves the idea and the goal.
• — Growing your own voice: local culture, everyday observation and personal experience as material for a designer's own visual language.

Mack Trịnh has nearly nine years in the creative industry. As a freelance graphic designer he has worked on music projects for Sơn Tùng M-TP, Chi Pu, Quang Hùng MasterD, Mark Tuan and Isaac, including Phương Mỹ Chi's album «Vũ Trụ Cò Bay». He is also known for his lettering work and the typefaces Dalat Type Collections and Lạc Tự, and has taught at DAS from its early days as a branding mentor.

The session is for designers, design students and anyone curious but unsure about AI in creative work. It is capped at 40 people, with registration required in advance.

DAS Hanoi is in room T3.1 on the third floor of Complex 01.

Bring your questions about AI and design, and come meet Mack on Sunday morning.
