Admissions talk «2026 Berklee Info Session in Hanoi»

   Dreaming of studying music at Berklee but not sure where to start? Right here in Hanoi, an admissions officer from Berklee College of Music will talk you through auditions, interviews and scholarships. If you are serious about a career in music, this evening is worth your time.

   The session is led by Quan Yao Lim, Assistant Director of Admissions at Berklee College of Music in the US. It covers four topics:

• — getting into Berklee: auditions and interviews;
• — careers in music;
• — majors and student life;
• — scholarship opportunities.

   It suits high school students preparing applications, their parents, and young musicians thinking about performance, songwriting, music production or film scoring: asking an admissions officer directly beats piecing things together from websites.

   Berklee College of Music opened in 1945, built on jazz and popular music. According to the school, it was the first to offer courses or degrees in rock, pop and hip-hop, songwriting, film and video game scoring, music synthesis and electronic digital instruments. In 2016 it joined forces with Boston Conservatory, founded in 1867; besides its Boston campus, Berklee now has campuses in New York City and Valencia, Spain, plus the online school Berklee Online.

   Registration in advance is required through Berklee's form, which also lets you add guests. The session takes place on the UNIS Hanoi campus, and all visitors must follow the school's Child Safeguarding Policy.
