Music night «BLUE MONDAY» at Thoáng Acoustic

   On the first evening of the week the upstairs room on Quán Sứ street turns into a hiding place: one voice, one guitar and nothing else.

   The night is called «BLUE MONDAY», and the poster adds a line: «Music for a softer Monday». By the venue's own description, if Monday leaves you «worn out or under the pressure of the work routine», this is «a quiet corner to soothe the tiredness of the week's first day»: «nothing elaborate or loud, only a warm room and an expressive voice» — that of Sơn Bách.

   Performing is Son Bach (Sơn Bách); by the poster he both sings and plays guitar.

   The poster keeps the same key: a double exposure of clouds, an evening street under lamplight and the singer at an old microphone.

   Thoáng Acoustic is on the second floor of Drop In Café & Bistro and opens every evening from 17:00 to 23:00. By the menu on its website, classic cocktails cost 185,000 VND, Originals 195,000 VND, Signature 215,000 VND, mocktails 115,000 VND, beer 100,000 VND and fresh juices 90,000 VND.

   It suits anyone who wants a gentle Monday evening after the first working day of the week.
