Jazz night «Under the Star, Over the Moon» at Blake's House of Jazz

   The Friday programme rests on a contrast between two voices, one instrumental and one human. The piano lays down a dense, grounding base while the vocal line lifts away and works almost in a whisper, and the whole evening is built on that gap rather than on the usual jazz drive.

   On stage are vocalist Nguyen Bach and pianist Ngoc Tran, both listed among the club's residents. The club describes the night as a study in musical contrasts: grounded, resonant keys set against the velvet restraint of the voice.

   Blake's House of Jazz is an intimate club on a second floor in Hoan Kiem, running since 2022 and with around 12 thousand followers. The format is closer to a living room than a concert venue: the stage sits a step from the tables, there are candles, and reserving ahead is the understanding.

   Friday here is not about dancing or volume — it suits anyone who wants to close the week in low conversation under live vocals. The club works in English and Vietnamese alike.
