Concert «River Session 1 — James Anthony»

   A British singer and multi-instrumentalist comes back to Hanoi after a summer in England — and marks the return with two brand-new solo sets at a live-music room by the Red River. If you like small rooms where the artist is a few steps away, this Tuesday night is for you.

   The programme

   James Anthony has lived in Hanoi for years and has played in local bands The Mansion Family, Đwellies and Because I Said So. He spent the summer working on music he can play and sing entirely on his own — and this is its first outing.

   Two sets on the night:
— the first consists solely of songs by Joanna Newsom, the American neo-folk harpist
— the second mixes selected covers with James's original songs
