Concert «Chuyến đi một người» — Hải Bột & Mủn Gỗ

   Some musicians disappear from the stage for years and are still talked about — Hải Bột is one of them. The former frontman of cult rock band Quái Vật Tí Hon brings his «one-person journey» to a small Hanoi stage where you sit a few steps from the performer — an acoustic evening built on closeness rather than volume.

   Hải Bột (real name Nguyễn Công Hải) wrote for the band Microwave on their debut «Lối thoát» (2005) before founding Quái Vật Tí Hon, whose album «Đường về» (2011) earned nominations at Vietnam's Cống hiến music awards. After the band split in 2014 he chose a solo path: unhurried, plain-spoken songs with a philosophical streak.

   Sharing the night is Mủn Gỗ, a young Hanoi band formed in 2021, known for weaving Vietnamese folk colors into rock — two albums and an EP in just a few years.

   It is a night for anyone curious about the quieter, more personal side of Vietnamese rock. The venue, Polygon Musik, sits inside COMPLEX 01, a creative hub off Tây Sơn street in the Đống Đa area — an easy taxi ride from the city center.
