Blockchain meetup «Road to Colosseum: Hanoi Builders Meetup»

About the event

   If you are building on Solana, one morning in Hanoi lets you put your questions directly to a Solana Foundation developer advocate, a lawyer and a Solscan product manager. Superteam Vietnam hosts it as one of the stops on Road to Colosseum, a programme that prepares Vietnamese teams for the Colosseum hackathon.

   Road to Colosseum is a four-week programme from Superteam Vietnam, the Vietnamese part of the global Superteam network that supports developers and founders in the Solana ecosystem. It helps teams in Vietnam get a project ready for Colosseum's online Crypto World's Fair hackathon, which runs until 12 October, with workshops in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, one-to-one mentor feedback and a Demo Day on 4 October with a $10,000 prize pool. Joining the programme takes a separate application. Colosseum itself takes selected hackathon winners into its accelerator with $250,000 in funding.

   The format is tight: each talk gets 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions. Kay, DevRel at Superteam Vietnam, opens the morning, followed by:

  • — Solana Foundation — Tuan, External Dev Advocate, on the foundation's vision and the opportunities for builders in Vietnam;
  • — THB Law — lawyer Vu Thi Huyen (Vũ Thị Huyền), founder of the law firm, on legal compliance for crypto founders in Vietnam;
  • — Solscan — Ha Hoang, product manager at the Solana block explorer, on building with on-chain data;
  • — Souls Lab — Anh L, CEO, on narrative design for emerging-tech products.

   The legal topic is timely: since 1 January 2026, Vietnam's Law on Digital Technology Industry (Luật Công nghiệp công nghệ số) has given crypto assets legal status for the first time. The talks wrap up with a group photo and about an hour of open networking and Q&A.

   Ecosystem partners are the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) under Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology, Solscan, Souls Lab and THB Law; media partners are Varmeta, SotaTek and TAO Startup.

   The meetup suits developers and founders already building on Solana or planning a Colosseum submission, as well as product managers and anyone launching a crypto start-up in Vietnam who wants to understand the rules. You come away with first-hand answers and new contacts among people working on the same problems.

   Attendance is by registration on Luma: the organisers approve every request, and the form asks what you are currently building or shipping. Spots are limited. Check-in runs until 9:30, when the talks start on the dot, so it pays to arrive early.

   If Solana or Colosseum is on your roadmap, bring your questions: about an hour at the end is set aside for open conversation.
