Workshop «Big Timer Ha Noi»

   Business strategy, learned across a table of cards. Big Timer is a deck built to simulate market dynamics, and it puts you in front of the decisions a founder actually faces — which market to chase, how to price, where to spend limited resources — with the consequences landing in the same session rather than three quarters later. It opens the side-event week of Viet Nam Startup Community Day 2026 in Hanoi, and it replaces slides with play.

   Your trainer is Nic Sim, CEO of Redbox Studio in Malaysia and the inventor of the Big Timer game. He built the format because conventional business education moves too slowly for startups, compressing years of trial and error into a guided simulation with direct feedback.

   The day runs as two separate sessions of 2.5 hours each, and every session is capped at 30 participants so that each person can have their own model stress-tested out loud: morning 10:00–12:30, afternoon 15:00–17:30. You pick one when you register.

   This is aimed at founders, co-founders and business owners who want an outside view of how their company makes money — and who want to meet peers in Hanoi's startup community while doing it. The format is conversational, so the networking happens over the game rather than in a queue afterwards.

   One practical note on getting there: the workshop is in Room 1003, Building D2 inside the campus at 144 Xuân Thuỷ, so allow a few extra minutes to find the building.
