About the event

Three days north of the Red River can spare you months of driving between industrial parks: nearly 90% of the people in these aisles are B2B visitors with a concrete order in hand, and you can lock in meetings with individual factories before you even reach the hall.

FBC ASEAN 2026 (EMIDAS Fair) is the 10th edition of Vietnam's international trade exhibition for the manufacturing supply chain, co-organised by NC Network Vietnam and Hiệp hội Công nghiệp Hỗ trợ Việt Nam (VASI, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries). The organisers expect 1,000 booths over 20,000 m² and 30,000 trade visitors, with around 80% of the stands taken by factories and supporting-industry suppliers across more than 20 exhibiting sectors. The theme of this edition, «Gắn kết ngành chế tạo, vững chắc tương lai xanh» — connecting the manufacturing sector for a solid green future — runs through five tracks: Go Green, Go Digital, Growth Together, Go Innovation and Go Global.

On the demand side stand more than 40 major buyers: international OEM/ODM companies plus Tier-1 and Tier-2 sourcing teams whose requirements are confirmed in advance. Names already confirmed for 2026 include TIGER Vietnam, FUJIFILM Việt Nam, TOTO Việt Nam, SANYO DENKI, Regal Rexnord, Foster Electric (Bắc Ninh), Bando Manufacturing, RHYTHM Vietnam and KVK Corporation. By the end of July roughly 90% of the exhibition space had been taken.

   New in the 2026 edition

  • — UAV/Drone Pavilion — a 300 m² zone running for the first time, built around drone makers, low-altitude aviation technology and their suppliers in CNC machining, composites, electronics, batteries, sensors, PCB, automation and robotics
  • — IEMS 2026 — an electronics manufacturing section staged inside FBC by VEIA, the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association, with about 60 specialised booths
  • — Con Quay Đại Chiến VASI 2026 — a precision-machining showdown on 17 September, 09:00 to 14:00, where teams build spinning tops no more than 20 mm wide and 60 mm tall, hand-started only, with no motors or electricity allowed; 23 teams competed in the 2025 season across timed and head-to-head formats

The fair is aimed at makers of components, precision machined parts, moulds, plastics, rubber and electronics; suppliers of machinery, materials and automation; support services such as logistics, inspection and engineering consultancy; and buyers, OEM/ODM firms and trading companies looking for suppliers in Vietnam. Most visitors are technical directors, purchasing managers and supply-chain managers from Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, the EU, the United States and ASEAN countries. Bring drawings, tolerance requirements and quality standards, and a meeting can move straight to a preliminary quotation at the negotiation table.

What sets FBC apart is its Japanese-style pre-matching system: each company can book up to 30 one-to-one negotiation slots across the three days, based on capability profiles digitised in several languages on EMIDAS, a B2B portal for the manufacturing sector with more than 23,000 members. Alongside the scheduled meetings there are industry seminars and a post-show Factory Tour programme.

FBC has been held in Vietnam since 2017 and now runs annually in both Vietnam and Thailand, combining online and offline display. Atsushi Okuda, director of Shinjo Vietnam, says his company has joined every Vietnamese edition: «We started with only 3-4 domestic customers, and today we have 50».

This is a professional trade event: visitors register in advance through an online form, receive a confirmation email with a QR code and scan it to collect a badge at the entrance. When you book a matching slot you also choose the language and the time of each meeting. The show occupies Halls 5 and 6 of the centre, so it is worth planning your route across the 20,000 m² floor beforehand.

For further details the organisers answer by email at [email protected] and [email protected].

If your plant is trying to move deeper into the Japan–ASEAN supply chain, these are three days where the meetings are arranged in advance instead of left to chance. Come with a shortlist, and you will leave with quotations rather than business cards.
